The old town with its typically Provencal footpaths, offers an enchanting promenade. Three chapels to visit are: Penitents Noirs, Penitents Gris and Penitents Blanc.

An adventure into the surrounding countryside where every halt is dedicated to one of Marcel Pagnol’s characters: La Treille a Marseillais hamlet, the Vallee de l’Huveaune, the Chateau de la Buzine and the Grotte du "Grosibou".
To the east of Aubage, Saint-Baume is an impressive chalk bar attaining a height of approximately 1000 meters. The northern side is covered in magnificent forest trees perfect for walking with superb views points enroute and curiosities such as the Grotte de la Saint-Baume, a spiritual place hidden in a cavity in the cliff and Saint Pilon sitting aloft at 994m. |
