Peacefully situated in the vineyards of the Cote de Luberon, Ferme de la Platane has superb views of the chateau of Ansouis, and the Luberon.
Our 18th c Farmhouse has been fully renovated and now offers four beautiful apartments each for two people, and have the character and charm of an old property combined with the comforts of home; good beds, fine cotton bed linen, and stylish bathrooms with plumbing that works.
All the apartments feature thick stone walls, exposed beams, and handmade terracotta floors. They have their own independent entrance and terrace to provide maximum privacy, as well as use of the courtyard, peaceful walled garden with swimming pool and extensive grounds, including our own vineyard and a boules pitch.
Ferme de la Platane is just under a kilometre (or a 15 minute walk through the vines) from Ansouis, a beautiful Provencal village with a superb medieval château and church with narrow cobbled streets. (It has received “Un des plus beaux villages de France” award).
Lourmarin, one of the liveliest villages in the Luberon, is 5 minutes away, with its numerous restaurants, bars and the popular Friday market.
Aix en Provence (25mins), Avignon (1 hr), the Calanques of Cassis (50 mins) and the Cote d’Azur (2 hrs) are all within easy reach. |
